NIVAN BHUTA joins PCGA as an Associate after completing his MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management (GSBM) in the top 2% of his class with Beta Gamma Sigma distinction. While at the GSBM, Nivan was awarded Top Prize in the Southern California Association for Corporate Growth Case Competition.

Prior to joining PCGA, Nivan was a financial analyst at Lionfish Advisors, an investment bank specializing in the merger and acquisition of firms in the middle market. While at Lionfish, Nivan assisted in the due diligence of potential targets, developed comprehensive financial models to assess and forecast a company’s financial performance, identified growth opportunities, and consulted with executive management to identify investment considerations. Prior to his time at Lionfish, he was an economic consultant at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he focused on capital resources and infrastructure planning for large multi-county clients in the utilities industry. Mr. Bhuta holds a B.S. degree in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University.

Nivan has been an athlete and an outdoor enthusiast since childhood. He grew up playing football and competitive tennis, while playing music with his band in cities throughout the southeast US. In the summers, Nivan enjoys swimming, biking, fishing and hiking. He spends his winters in the mountains of Colorado, Utah and Tahoe. His most recent travels have led him to Thailand where he worked on perfecting his new passions - kite surfing and scuba diving. When he’s not riding down a mountain or sailing with a kite, he enjoys yoga and playing percussion.
