
MARY ELISABETH PLOWDEN joined PCGA as an Associate in 2009 after working on the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team at Wachovia Securities. In her role at Wachovia, Mary Elisabeth primarily worked on transactions in the retail, restaurant, and consumer products sectors. Her experience included equity and debt transactions, public company advisory work, and managing colleagues in the Analyst program. Mary Elisabeth received her MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an A.B. in History magna cum laude from Princeton University.
Prior to business school, Mary Elisabeth worked as an Associate in the Global Investment Research division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. In this role, she worked on small teams that provided equity research coverage of public companies in the Business Services and Power/Electric Utilities sectors. Her responsibilities included evaluating earnings results, writing research reports, creating financial models, and interacting with institutional investors to convey investment recommendations
Growing up in Georgia, Mary Elisabeth was an avid tennis player and participated in USTA tournaments, as well as her high school team. She also has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys exploring new hiking trails both locally and through vacation travel. She periodically enjoys training for a road race, but in recent years has increasingly focused on the restorative benefits of a yoga practice.
