Deckers to Acquire Ahnu

Deckers Outdoor Corp has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire
outdoor footwear brand, Ahnu. Jim Van Dine, Ahnu president and founder,
is staying on. Following the closing, Ahnu will continue to operate out
of Alameda, CA, for the near term.

The agreement is subject to customary conditions to closing but the
transaction is expected to close prior to the end of the first quarter.

Deckers said Ahnu Footwear "utilizes a unique design approach centered
on balance," and fits into the Deckers mold with a strong focus in
woman's outdoor lifestyle footwear.

Angel Martinez, chairman and chief executive officer of Deckers Outdoor,
stated, "Ahnu is a brand developed by a talented management team and we
are excited to be welcoming them into the Deckers family. Along with
our already well established outdoor brand, Teva, the addition of Ahnu
will present Deckers with the opportunity to gain additional market
share within the outdoor space."

Decker's other brands include UGG Australia, Simple Shoes, Teva, TSUBO
