The organic products industry continues to grow at impressive rates with ~20% annual growth for over a decade and 17% growth to $14.6B in the US alone in 2006; and still only represents ~3% of the overall market with significant room to grow.
Organic personal care and household products showed particularly strong growth up 30% in the US in 2006.
In 2007, 80% of Fortune 500 companies consider climate change to represent commercial risks and 82% consider climate change to represent commercial opportunities.
Nearly 80 percent of workplace and corporate real estate executives say being more environmentally sustainable is a major issue for today’s businesses, and they are willing to pay a premium to achieve it.

Relaxation & Leisure
Use of spas has grown by a factor of sixfold in the last decade; the number of spas has grown 20% per year for the last 5 years
The broader yoga market is estimated to be a ~$10.6B industry and is growing at ~24% CAGR over last decade with no significant slow down in sight.
Yoga participation has increased 118% over the last five years; >500% for Pilates
Approximately 21M people participate in yoga in the US

In 2005, the U.S. spa industry generated ~$10B in sales, up from $7B in 2003 for a CAGR of 18%.

In 2005, the typical luxury consumer spent ~$23K on experiential luxuries, including spa services, which was double 2004 levels.
   
Healthy Aging
The last decade has seen an explosion of interest in healthy living and in healthy diets, driven primarily by the aging of the baby boomer generation (for the next 15 years 10,000 boomers will turn 50 every day!)
Between 2000 and 2020, the number of people age 55-64 will increase 73%.  The number of people over 65 will increase 54%.
Americans over 65 spend $6 billion per year on personal care expenditures.
Americans in their 50s have more discretionary income than any other age group.
Life expectancy in the US as of 2000 was 78 years.
The cosmetic surgery industry grew 2228% from 1992 to 2004.
