Mrs. Green’s Natural Market founder Harold Hochberger hired PCGA in late 2006 to explore strategic alternatives. PCGA subsequently led an extensive process that included both financial and strategic investors. Planet Organic acquired 100% of Mrs. Green’s in the third quarter of 2007. PCGA arranged and structured the debt to finance the acquisition in a highly efficient process, resulting in Ares Capital Corporation leading the financing with Partnership Capital Growth investing alongside.
